Chasuble (Italy)
This is a Chasuble. It is dated late 17th–early 18th century and we acquired it in 1960. Its medium is silk, linen, metal and its technique is flame (brick, florentine, bargello) stitch embroidery on loosely woven canvas bound together by silver trimming; lined. It is a part of the Textiles department.
