Drawing, Designs for Drinking Vessels, Covered Dishes, and Candle Holders

We have 3 images of Drawing, Designs for Drinking Vessels, Covered Dishes, and Candle Holders .

Outlined, two-dimensional design drawings of a set of eight glass vessels of varying shapes and sizes on a horizontal, rectangular sheet of off-white paper. From the viewer's left to right, the objects include a V-shaped water glass with a base similar to that of a wine glass and a slightly smaller but similarly shaped water glass, followed by a rounded finger bowl. The bowl resembles a champagne cup with a wide, flat base and without the long stem. Next is a triangular, martini glass-like finger bowl with a small, inverted bell-shaped base. Two bonbonnières with covers follow, one small and one large, resembling an upright globe and used for small candies or bonbons. A short candlestick with a wide, inverted bowl-shaped base is next, and finally, a tall candlestick in the shape of an upside-down goblet. The last object is the tallest of the set, and each object is drawn with its centerline and height clearly marked, placed side-by-side with minimal space in-between. Descriptions are annotated underneath each object, carefully aligned between two thin parallel lines. The drawings are very faint, possibly having faded over time, and the notes, written in German, are blurred in the image. The artist's signature, [J.L. Lobmeyr], is on the bottom right corner in angled cursive. The drawing is on a lighter sheet of paper, giving it a framed appearance. Another annotation on the bottom right cover of the larger sheet is similarly indistinguishable. The striking, architectural feel of the presentation contrasts with the image of the softly angular vessels.
