Woman's Headdress (Greece)

This is a Woman's headdress. It is dated late 18th–early 19th century and we acquired it in 1955. Its medium is raw silk, metal and its technique is withdrawn element work and embroidery on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Provident Securities Co. and Estate of Mr. & Mrs. William H. Crocker. It is credited Gift of Provident Securities Company from the Estate of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Crocker.
