Valance (Russia)

This is a Valance. It is dated 19th century and we acquired it in 1953. Its medium is linen and its technique is withdrawn element with embroidery. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Richard Cranch Greenleaf (American, 1887–1961).
