Coverlet Fragment (USA)

This is a Coverlet fragment. It is dated 1830s and we acquired it in 1953. Its medium is wool, cotton and its technique is plain weave with supplementary weft patterning (overshot). It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Ohio State University. It is credited Gift of Ohio State Museum.
