Valance (Germany)

This is a Valance. It is dated late 18th–early 19th century and we acquired it in 1952. Its medium is cotton, linen, silk and its technique is block-printed on plain weave, lined with plain weave linen and bound with blue silk tape. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mr. and Mrs. G. Glen Gould. It is credited Gift of Mr. and Mrs. G. Glen Gould.
