Carpet Fragment (USA)

This is a Carpet fragment. It is dated ca. 1832 and we acquired it in 1951. Its medium is wool, bast fiber and its technique is uncut loops of a printed warp secured in a plain weave foundation. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mrs. William A. Hutcheson. It is credited Gift of Mrs. William A. Hutcheson.
