Pleated Fan

This is a Pleated fan. It is dated late 19th century and we acquired it in 1951. Its medium is metallic net leaf backed with silk, embroidered with sequins and paillettes, carved and pierced sandalwood sticks. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Henry Woodward Haynes. It is credited Gift of Mrs. Henry Woodward Haynes.
