Waistcoat (England)

This is a Waistcoat. It is dated late 18th–early 19th century and we acquired it in 1950. Its medium is silk, cotton, linen and its technique is cut supplementary warp pile on satin ground (velvet). It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Harold Norton. It is credited Gift of Harold Norton of the Hayden Company.
