Sample (France)

This is a Sample. It was manufactured by Séguin et Cie. It is dated ca. 1805 and we acquired it in 1937. Its medium is silk, metallic thread and its technique is fancy satin brocaded with gold. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Herman A. Elsberg. It is credited Gift of Herman A. Elsberg on the Fortieth Anniversary of the Museum.
