Worsham-Rockefeller House Wall Tiles

This is a Wall tiles. It is dated ca. 1880 and we acquired it in 1937. Its medium is glazed earthenware. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

On reverse of each tile: GIEN (impressed), PERSIAN 37(open lettering stamped in black) Penciled on reverse of -4c, lower left corner: " Imitation of Turkish / "Rhondian" tile."
