Tsuba

This is a Tsuba. It was made by Isobe Isshu and school of Ichijo school. It is dated late 19th century and we acquired it in 1936. Its medium is shakudo (an alloy of copper and 3-6% gold), gold inlay. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was bequest of George Cameron Stone. It is credited Bequest of George Cameron Stone.
