Written in ink at the reverse of the mount: "Salvator Rosa-cilebre pintor y grabador al agua duerte-pocta satirico. No. trenella circa de Napales/en 1615 - mo 1673," and "no. 33 soln," and "Q Z," by an older hand: "L. 96 - i' -d."
