Kin-chaku (purse) With Netsuke And Ojime On Chord

This is a Kin-chaku (purse) with netsuke and ojime on chord . It is dated ca. 1750 and we acquired it in 1931. Its medium is leather (purse); ivory and shibuichi (netsuke), enamel on copper, silk (cord). It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Eleanor Garnier Hewitt and Sarah Cooper Hewitt. It is credited Gift of Eleanor and Sarah Hewitt.
