Textile Fragment

This is a textile fragment. It is dated mid- 18th century and we acquired it in 1928. Its medium is silk and metallic embroidery on silk foundation and its technique is embroidered on satin weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Sarah Cooper Hewitt and Eleanor Garnier Hewitt. It is credited Gift of Eleanor and Sarah Hewitt.
