This is a Pleated fan. It is dated 19th century and we acquired it in 1923. Its medium is silk net leaf with applied metal foil and sequins, celluloid sticks inlaid with sequins; celluloid guards with copper and inlaid with metal foil; mother-of-pearl rivet. It is a part of the Textiles department.
