Lettered in plate, lower center: LA GROTTE DE THETIS est lieu ou l’Ouvrier a feint que cette Déesse recevoit le Soleil. On y voit ce Dieu servy par des Nimphes tandis que des Tritons prennent soint de ses chevaux/ Toutes ces figures sont de marbre blanc. Le dedans est embelly de plusieurs grands Miroirs, et de Coquillages choisi. Un Chandelier qui est aussi de coquillages forme quatre branches d’ou/ sortent autant de jets deau.
