Lettered in plate, lower center: LA BASSIN D’ENCELADE represente ce Geant accablé sous les rochers qu’il avoit autre-fois entassé les uns sur les autres pour escalader le Ciel. Ce/ qui paroist de la figure est quatre-fois plus grand que Nature de la bouche fort un jet d’eau de la grosseur du bras et de 24 pieds de haut. Le bassin d’En-/celade est situé prez de celuy de Flore a main droite dans le bois à Versailles.
