Lettered upper right in plate: 3. du 3e Cah.; lettered lower center, in plate: Après avoir expliqué les proportions de la Tête d’enfant vue de profil et de face, nous avons jugé qu’il/ etoit necessaire d’indiquer dans les figures de cette planche de la manière de diriger les Cercles en ésquissant des/ Têtes d’enfant de divers positions pour se retrouver toujours dans les principes expliqués dans la planche pré-/cédentes, on voit par la première desdites figures qu’il faut élever les Cercles en l’air vers le milieu lorsqu’il/ regarde en l’air dans la seconde les Cercles se racourcissent en se dirigant vers le bas, pour faire une Tête panché en devant. ; inscribed in graphite lower left, outside plate: 14
