Bound Print, L'HISTOIRE

This is a Bound print. It was designed by Jacques de Lajoüe and print maker: Charles-Nicolas Cochin the elder and published by Charles-Nicolas Cochin the elder and Jacques de Lajoüe. It is dated 1737 and we acquired it in 1920. Its medium is etching and engraving on paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

This object was donated by Advisory Council. It is credited Purchased for the Museum by the Advisory Council.

Lettered lower left, in plate: Inventé et peint par J. la Jouë; lettered lower right, in plate: Gravé par C.N. Cochin.; lettered lower center in plate: Se vend a Paris chez la Jouë peintre du Roy.
