Decorative Furniture Mount Mount

This is a mount. It is dated 1750–1800 and we acquired it in 1904. Its medium is bronze, gold. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

Hardware such as furniture mounts and locks and keys were collected as examples of ornamental as well as functional embellishments of furniture.

This object was donated by Jacob H. Schiff. It is credited Gift of Jacob H. Schiff.
