Textile, Meroe

This is a Textile. It was designed by David Adjaye and produced by Knoll Textiles. It is dated 2015 and we acquired it in 2015. Its medium is 40% cotton, 35% polyester, 25% nylon and its technique is jacquard woven. It is a part of the Textiles department.

The inspiration for Meroe, a pattern of fine-lined intersecting squares, was Adjaye’s personal artwork.

This object was donated by Knoll Textiles. It is credited Gift of Knoll Textiles.
