This is a Textile. It was designed by David Adjaye and produced by Knoll Textiles. It is dated 2015 and we acquired it in 2015. Its medium is 49% viscose, 19% polyacrylic, 17% polyester, 15% linen and its technique is jacquard woven, digitally printed. It is a part of the Textiles department.

Aswan, an upholstery with a plush surface, combines the formal composition of Ewe strip-woven prestige cloths from Ghana with the soft color effects of digital printing to create something utterly new.

This object was donated by Knoll Textiles. It is credited Gift of Knoll Textiles.
