Running Tights
This is a Running tights. It was designed by Jörg Hartmann and manufactured by H. Stoll AG & Co. KG and design team member: Karen Klabunde, Petra Meyer and Francesco Collura. It is dated 2016 and we acquired it in 2017. Its medium is virgin wool, lycra, polyamide, polyester and its technique is knitted in transverse direction, links-links structure. It is a part of the Textiles department.
Stoll, a leader in knit technology for over 140 years, created the Performance+ collection of concept athletic apparel to showcase the capabilities of their state-of-the-art machinery. These running tights are knitted in the transverse direction in three pieces, using 3-D goring technology. The knitted-to-shape waistband incorporates an integrated cell-phone pocket. Compression structures around the knees provide joint support, while the upper leg remains highly elastic. Reflective yarns are incorporated below the knee for passive visibility.
